Bio
Joshua graduated from DigiPen Institute of Technology in 2008 with a B.S. in Real-Time Interactive Simulation and a Minor in Mathematics. While in school he created Ivar's Adieu with David Siems and Habib Loew. During his final year of undergrad studies he lived in Baltimore and was a game programmer at Big Huge Games.
After that, he moved to Los Angeles to join a startup, The Odd Gentlemen. As a Lead Programmer, he was instrumental in developing the engine, tools, and processes used to create their flagship title, The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. The game was released in February 2010 for Xbox LIVE Arcade, and was highly praised.
He is a Senior Systems Programmer at Giant Sparrow, where he is working on the much-anticipated surreal first-person adventure game, The Unfinished Swan.
Josh is a brewer and the founder of Bushido Brewery. Last year he brewed 14 batches of beer. (That's 70 gallons!) He also organized the world's first table flipping contest. Other pastimes include dancing Argentinean tango, riding motorcycles, and studying Japanese. He makes it a habit to look up.
Check out more awesome stuff he's done.
